Re: Hi
Hi yes I it is white, I had a red B16 powered one before that. It is in bits at the moment I am repairing the rear wheel archs as they were rusted and at the same time polybushing the suspension. I only have a few pics at the moment.
Spec is: B20b block, crank and rods with Wiseco forged pistons 11.4:1 compression ratio, B16a1 head ports cleaned up. ITR cams and uprated Valve springs/titanium retainers. SRS 2.5" manifold, sport cat and adapted Magnex exhaust from a Rover 220 turbo. Prelude Injectors. It is yet to be mapped properly but it made 183 hp as it is before I changed to the bigger exhaust
Y1 LSD box will be changed back to Y2 with M factory LSD as I find the Y1 to low geared. Also waiting to be fitted is a Skunk2 70mm throttle body.
It does not have the splitter on any more it was too low for the cornish roads.

Re: Hi
I am not sure on the manifold yet I will probably just open out the A1 one to match the throttle body. I actually have a book that reckons the A1 one is just as good.

Re: Hi
The mounts are original D series with adapters made to fit. The cambelt end adaptor is just 1/4 inch plate with holes drilled to go between the engine and mount. The gear box side I took bit of D series bracket and the full B series bracket and welded them together and the T bracket is done simularly. Then the front mount on the gearbox is a B series one and I fabricated a bracket on the front cross member which I had cut about an inch out the back off and plated the resulting gap. Ecu is a chipped PWO (standard VT) the Concerto was never updated to OBD1 so a fairly simple fit.
I forgot to mention is has the MG brake upgrade front and back and a Koni suspension kit intended for a Rover 216.

Re: Hi
Hi Marc it is Dave, I dont know if my Y1 has got original gearing but it seems to be much lower geared that the Y2 I had before. It might just be that because I changed it when I did the B20 conversion and the increased torque is making it feel lower geared. Maybe I need to find 1.8Vti box but then I have to convert to hydrolic.
