so didnt know weather 2 do a build thread but why not so hear it goes
had this back in the day 1999 my first car had a janspeed back box and made my own k and n
off a viva i loved this car so much

then bout a year ago seen this and had to have it i was driving a c class merc at the time so needed :civic: back in my life

bought it off a granny in essex totaly standard 60000 from new 3 owners she had done 6000 in 4 years prob cuz no power stering

so drove it standard few months then had a hole in my back box so through on my stubby off my old egg
some old j mex shocks and springs on the front fake d2 LCAs and spax SPX rear

i always wanted vtec back but i never wanted to change the look of the car to much as i love the blue and black bumpers
so i picked up a d16z6 to drop in but a mate of mine was braking a mb6 so had to have it

only built eg's b4 so didnt realise how much harder these box shapes r 2 buld so went 4 these

so striped it out verry surprised how clean it is it seemed like nothing had ever been taken off b4
so it got parked up and has not moved for the past 5months :(

bit close that back mount

had to chop subframe to get the L bracket to fit little did i know then that the mb6 L bracket didnt fit
nor did the cam side mount

so i swaped it with my m8s b16 mount out his eg still didnt fit properly

choped off the side bitto get it 2 fit 4 now but was still lop sided

The conversion mounts should perfectly align the engine, you will need to use a EF B Series rear Bracket

found a doggy injector but had to change them to odb0 1s any way

i went to see momin f for a fuel tank came back with 4x100 vt hubs crx 1616 rears with energy bushes full vt loom :)
proper good lad changed my mind on the brakes as i was gunna use the mb6 hubs didnt know they dont line up
so when i got back started the strip

went and got a few bits to fit the tank

gave all the arches a paint and under-sealed the bits that need going over that should stop the rust 4 a bit

hand brake cables dont fit think they r crx 1s do rover 45 ones fit ?????

so gave the inside a clean b4 i put it back together

while i was there i noticed that the heater box foam was hanging so i renewed it
with some foam tape that i use at work to dam the window glue

yeh man got that da mount slapped it on put the manifolds back on with the odb0 injectors
i put a b16 std exhaust manifold on iv still got the b18c4 one but the ports look bigger on the
b16 one its supposed to be JDM but is a bit short hits the sump a bit b18 block must b longer
will have to see if it vibrates when it starts

you need a b16a1 cam belt engine side mount
you need the b18c4 mani too

yeh got that mount its in the pics is that b16 manifold no good then cuz like i say the b18c4 one looks like the ports r bigger
was gunna try to bend it a bit so it clears the sump a bit more
