Thought I may as well make a thread. I have owned this car for just over 6 months now and I still love it.
Unfotunately I have got no pictures of what the car was like when I first got it.

Some Nice pictures of it. - More can be found here >> forum/viewtopic.php?t=7360

What has been done in the photos. ^^^
BMC Air Intake
Eibach springs
Fully Cleaned the engine Bay
Painted the Manifold heatshield
Custom Rocker cover as the original was a bit scruffy.
Custom Stainless steel cat-back exhaust
Given the car a good clean inside and out

Think thats about it - I wish I had a photo of before I had done the above.

My custom Air Brushed Rocker Cover!!

The paintwork was pretty good when I got the car but I knew it could be better. I ordered some top quality clays,
polishes and waxes and had a detailing session, it took me about 3 days in total but it was worth it, the paintwork
looked great once I had finsihed.

Just some of the Products I used for the Detailing

Lovely car mate 8) very clean!

Did you sew on the Mugen badges?.....so why not get Mugen socks to match? Oh, and did you do the airbrush work?

No, the badges are not sewn on as there is no way of getting the needle turned around once you push it through (if you know what I mean). They were held on with pins and then Ironed on.

No I did not do the airbrushing myself (I wish I could do though) I got a guy who does painting and airbrushing and stuff for things like custom bikes and that to do it for me. He did a great Job too!!

The reason for getting spoon socks is purely that I do not like the orange colour of the mugen ones.

Cheers for the comments :D

Just got landed with a bill today and it hurt, bad!!

At least its all sorted now and I shouldn't need any more parts other than standard service ones.

The indicator I got there cost £60  , my starter motor needed reconditoned £52, Somehow the sump plug had been
overtightened so it was leaking - £145 for sump and another £30 for the gasket. Along with a CV joint at £85 and a
new wishbone and bushing for £72 it was a very big surprise, I need to start doing more of the work myself but It is
hard to find the time beetween Uni, Coursework and my job.

New part arived today!

It wasn't as easy to fit as I thought it would be. The wiring was awkward at the drivers side and the Flying saucer
thing got in the way and needed to come off.

A nice B16B with only 38K on it!!! Needs a bit of a clean but it will soon look great. I want the block to look as clean as
Welz got his B16A block. Going to change the oil and filter this weekend as I have it off.

Thanks, The b16a1 (150hp stock) is a great engine but I feel it is lacking something, the B16B (from the EK9 Civic Type R)(185hp stock) is one of the best, if not thee best na 1.6 engine ever, it should be a vast improvement over the B16A1. With the work I will have done by the time it goes in it should be putting out around 210hp (thats 131.25 hp per litre)

The B16B is actually a lot different to a B16A1, its head is slightly taller, its got different internals (stronger, lighter), higher compresion, its had a lot of work done to it from the factory with a lot of the work done my hand - porting and polishing and so on. In total there were over 60 parts that were changed or re-designed for the type r engine.

From Funky Power - I can reccommend them, good service and good website.

http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.p ... 8-91+CIVIC

^^^ Go to the transmission and drivetrain section and you will find them there under short shift kits.
