The minimum weight limit should definately be lower maybe 850-900

What do you mean by handicaps ?

There is no weight limit for the series now,

Were keeping it simple, dial in racing so anyone can win a gl could beat a k24 on slicks.

Mate you can run any Honda in it, it is bracket racing so even if you had a small engined car you could still win :top:

No...

It has been run this yr at Shakey, with around 10 entrants per round I believe, I only ran at the 1st round due to work issues (or lack of).

The series Ran all of 2011,

Winning driver was James Davies in his B18 EG Civic, 2nd place was Mike Rust in his 79 1.5 Civic.

2012 the series ran all year again, with half the rounds at Shakey, half the rounds at York.

Series winner was Dom Fahkri in his H22 EG, 2nd place again went to Mike Rust in his 79 Civic,

The series isnt about the fastest car, its about being consistent and knowing your car, in 2011 James won as he wa the only driver that made every round and scored points at each round, he didnt win them all, Mike rust scored more points at the rounds he attended But missed 1 round out and that cost him 1st.

Same again for 2012, Dom ran more rounds than anybody else, He won the first 2 rounds, and attended 5 in total, Mike only attended 3 rounds, but scored big points at all 3.

For 2013 were running it back at Shakey for the full year as we didnt get enough interest at York.

There have been a few small ammendments to the Rules for 2013 but only to open it up to a wider range of Honda's.

The forum is here
http://honda-dragracing.forumotion.co.uk/

Facebook Page is here
http://www.facebook.com/groups/14175027 ... ts&fref=ts

A 1.4GL has more chance of being consistent thann a built B20 for example.

The costs are reasonable.

£20 for your Club subscription for the year and the cost at each round is just entry and RWYB fee, so basically you can race in a series for an extra £20 over RWYB.
