EK VTI knuckles on EF

Post by Hakosuka »

OK, I was searching around the internet, but there is no definitive answer what is the problem with this setup.
Why? Because I would like to have 282mm brakes, and VT hubs are hard to get in Slovenia. I can get them in UK, but there is shipping and all that stuff to count in the price.
All i found is that EK knuckles on EF fecks the car geometry. But what exactly? Camber can be fixed with cutting and welding the UCA shorter. If this is the only problem when swapping, then this is not really a problem for me.
Did anyone try and has a definitive answer?

You need to look up 5 lug conversion on EF, many threads on Hondatech cover this, the process is the same involving machineing EF bearing in EK knuckle.

Why would I need EF bearing? Lug pattern is same on EK and EF so?

Oh, maybe I forgot to add... I will have a B18 swap, so no problem with axles then!

You can use S2000 calipers with VW discs using your existing hubs. Search! Either here or on CRX-UK.
