polyurethane bushings for rear trailing arm

Post by lucas10 »

Hi guys, my car has the rear bushings in very bad conditions so i´m thinking to change oem bushings with polyurethane bushings of energy suspension. What do you think? Any of you tried it?
I heard good and bad things about so i am a little confused.
Thank you guys

Yes. Change them It will make teh car nosier, harder and squeeky.
But it will make a big improvement on the solidness of the handling.

You'll notice a massive difference in part because you're going from very badly worn bushes to new ones, regardless of them being ploy.
If you want to retain comfort but improve teh handling, just go OEM bushes and get the alignment done.

Most people feel changing teh OEM RTA big bush for a ploy one is a bad idea, as it dramatically changes the compliance of the rear suspension since you are limiting teh direction that the pivot point can then move in.
